Me and Soft Earth Co.

Well, if you don’t already know by now — I’m Caroline.

A city girl, born and bred on the South Coast of England. I’m a mum, a wife, and currently the family COO — Chief Operating Officer!

This little website grew from my own journey toward living more simply, naturally, and in good health. What began as curiosity about ingredients gradually turned into a passion for learning about natural self-care, cooking from scratch, and returning to simpler ways of doing things.

Along the way, I started learning more about the ingredients we use every day — in the products we put on our skin, the things we use in our homes, and the foods we eat.

I became increasingly curious about the products I was bringing into my home. When I began reading ingredient labels and truly understanding what was inside so many conventional products, it felt overwhelming — and at times, honestly quite frightening.

That curiosity led me to research, learn, and experiment for myself. I discovered that many everyday essentials could be created more simply using gentle, natural ingredients — often things already in the home — with beautiful multi-purpose benefits.

I began crafting my own products and recipes, learning time-honoured methods of cooking, preserving, and reconnecting with more traditional ways of living. What started as a personal lifestyle shift soon became something I felt deeply passionate about.

The Heart Behind Soft Earth Co.

Soft Earth Co. grew from that place. Today, this small and personal business is built on creating thoughtfully formulated products in small batches — made with care, intention, and respect for both people and the environment.

My goal is to:

• Create thoughtfully formulated, high-quality natural self-care essentials that support a softer, more grounded way of living.

• Share what I continue to learn along the way.

• Reconnect with traditional and time-honoured practices.

• Build confidence and inspire others.

• Build trust through transparency.

This space is more than simply a showcase for the products I create or recommend. It’s a place where I share:
