Simple, Natural Living

Explore handcrafted self-care, organic home goods, and garden-fresh recipes as we embrace a path toward more intentional and holistic living.

Welcome to my website — I’m so pleased you’re here.

I have so much to share with you on this journey toward simpler, more natural living.

What began as a curiosity about ingredients slowly grew into a passion for creating small-batch, thoughtfully formulated self-care products using gentle, multi-benefit botanicals.

Along the way, that curiosity also led me back to the foods we eat — learning more about ingredients, cooking from scratch, and rediscovering simple, traditional ways of preparing nourishing meals using natural, wholesome ingredients.

This space is where I share natural rituals, self-care creations, simple recipes, and the ongoing journey of learning how to live a little more softly and intentionally each day.

With gratitude,

Caroline

Reviewed & Recommended Products

I’m often asked what companies, products and ingredients I use.

I’m always happy to share this information in the hope that it helps and inspires your own DIY projects.

There’s a lot of untransparent and sometimes misleading marketing out there, which can make choosing the right products confusing. Because of this, I only recommend items that I have personally tried and tested and genuinely trust.

As you can imagine, Amazon plays a huge role in sourcing many of my favourite products. I'm working on an link to Amazon page where all my personal recommendations will be listed in one place for easy purchase but for now, I'm currently creating my own used product list of my favourite products I regularly love and use for you here.

Onlynaturals

If you're looking to make the switch to all-natural body care products and cosmetics, this is the go-to company.

With a huge range of products from a variety of brands, this website really inspires your natural drive for change. It also makes purchasing easy, as they only sell the very best natural and organic skincare and cosmetic products from around the world—so there’s no misleading or confusing marketing.

Onlynaturals is an independent, family-run business based in North Yorkshire, UK, which I really like as I prefer to support UK businesses whenever I can.

Friends Applying Makeup

Kilner

These jars have been around since 1842, with their iconic design helping many generations successfully preserve and store foods fresher for longer.

Kilner are my personal favourite due to their quality, variety and beautiful designs. There really is a jar and storage solution for every project. Better still, if Kilner items are looked after properly, they can be used time and time again.

This is one of the key benefits of using glass containers instead of plastic. Not only do you reduce the amount of plastic packaging used, but glass also offers a more practical and healthier material for storing food. Unlike plastic, glass is 100% recyclable, does not absorb odours or flavours, and can be reused repeatedly.

The website is also a great place for project inspiration, recipes, how-to guides, accessories, and information on where to find your local stockists in store or online.

LoveJars Co UK

Presto Canner

This company is UK supplier of pressure canners, spare parts, and Le Parfait canning jars, along with unrivalled support, advice, and training workshops by the very experienced and knowledgeable Rosie.

They also have canning ingredients, labels, utensils and equipment, everything you need to start your canning journey.

I now own two canners, one for induction the other gas top with an array of equipment all of which arrived on time and well packed. All their canners come with the 195 page United States Department of Agriculture's complete guide to home canning which is very comprehensive and insightful reading! (It was a heavy read for me lol) don't worry there are lots of other supporting books available.

My only go to company for everything canning!

The Soapry Company

Soap Bar Foam

Another great company based in the UK with a huge range of products for soap making but also great for DIY beauty products such as oils, powders, clays, waxes, botanicals, preservatives, and much more —  Many products are organic and certified by the Soil Association, giving us confidence in their quality and sustainability.

I have found delivery to be speedy, packaging is simple but sturdy with some products in repacked bags, identifiable with clear labelling.

Great company to use!

Fushi

100% pure, natural, and organic beauty and wellbeing products, including hand-pressed oils. All of their ingredients are carefully formulated to create products that work naturally with our bodies. I have noticed the variety of products continue to grow which is exciting as the quality is fantastic, and the product designs are beautiful, using amber glass bottles which I keep and repurpose.

I have found the shipping to be of a high quality also with thoughtfully arranged and well packed items.

Best of all, they are a UK company based in London.
